A prominent Israeli journalist has said that if the people knew what their leaders were planning on Iran, they would head to the airport.
Media headlines falsely imply that Iran struck Israel out of the blue. "Israel on high alert as it weighs response to Iranian attack" is Monday's headline from The Guardian.
A lot of people are left with no idea that Iran's attack on Israel was retaliation after Israel bombed Iran's embassy in Syria, killing senior officials.
Yet without this crucial piece of context the events are misrepresented.
This type of misinformation is precisely how the people are manipulated and marched off to war.
Israel did not tell the United States of its plans to bomb Iran’s consulate in Damascus until the attack was underway on Apr 1. “Joe Biden has privately expressed concern that Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu is trying to drag the U.S. more deeply into a broader conflict,” said NBC News.
Iran, for its part, did indeed notify the U.S. and neighbouring countries 72 hours before Saturday’s strike.
This is why the day before Iran’s counterstrike the Dow Jones Industrial Average closed with its biggest weekly loss since Mar 2023.
For individuals, the prospect of war is inflationary. with competition for commodities a cause and effect of war.
The attack
Israeli journalist Ronen Bergman writes:
"Israel did not coordinate the assassination operation in Damascus with the United States. The IDF Operations Directorate updated them about the operation only simultaneously with the bombing of the building. The Americans were infuriated. They are very concerned and feel that Israel has put them exactly in the situation they tried to avoid."
Israel then appealed to the United Nations, the same body it has studiously ignored since Oct 7.
Iran justified its response under Article 51 of the Charter of the United Nations and recognized by international law. “This concluded action was necessary and proportionate."
More important is what comes next. Journalist Bergman has a remarkable quote from a source with knowledge of Israeli discussions on Iran:
"If the talks were broadcast live on YouTube, you'd have four million people clamouring at Ben Gurion airport trying to get out of here."
The objectives of war are discussed below.
Slow beginnings
As CNN comments: “Iran’s attack seemed planned to minimize casualties while maximizing spectacle.”
It targeted Israeli military installations on the Golan Heights. Although about 100 missiles and 200 drones swarmed the skies, no-one was killed.
This is presented as the success of Israel's "Iron Dome" and yet a) Iran was not targeting civilians and b) Israel has not admitted what damage was done to secure military sites.
Israel has published images of craters which are obviously holes dug by shovel because the contents of the holes are piled nearby. Misinformation this blatant is intended to ridicule the less informed viewer: they are laughing at us. (See next subsection).
The heaviest damage of Iran's ballistic missile attack occurred on a secret intelligence base in the Golan Heights, about which the IDF has imposed a media ban, so the damage cannot be assessed, according to Hebrew language media.
The U.S. has an advanced AN/TPY-2 X-band radar stationed at Har Qeren, in the Negev desert. It failed to deter these attacks, says former UN weapons inspector and marine Scott Ritter.
Sydney distraction
While some in the mainstream alternative media try hard to avoid mentioning Gaza at all, the mainstream legacy media amplifies the narrative of a "clash of civilisations" by misrepresenting events.
The result is the viewer is summoned to take sides in a conflict whose purpose, let alone origin, is obscured and undefined for the public.
The Sydney stabbings happened just after 3 p.m. on Saturday, or 8 a.m. Israel time, a few hours after Iran's overnight attacks had ended.
Julia Hartley-Brewer and Tom Tugendhat MP were among those who seized upon the Sydney knife man for political capital.
Considerable personalities perhaps, not some random Twit, whatever your opinion of those individuals.
By the 8 p.m. in the evening Australia's Channel 7 had switched tack and named (it turned out falsely) Benjamin Cohen as the culprit: a 20-year-old student at the University of Technology Sydney.
Misidentified on Twitter/X his name was supposedly picked up by the station and repeated. Yet 8 p.m. is almost five hours after the knife man had been shot and killed.
Australian broadcasters, like almost all in the West, have been staunchly pro Israel everything. They have fired journalists for Palestinian leanings, such as Antoinette Lattouf, after the Australian Broadcasting Corporation discovered she had posted a Human Rights Watch report.
Are we to believe Channel 7 was so careless, even describing him as “40-year-old lone-wolf attacker Benjamin Cohen” and failing to notice that's an unlikely age for a student?
Callous pantomime
While not yet knowing if anyone had died in Iran’s attack on Israel, and ignoring the continued violence and killing in Gaza, Hartley-Brewer, Tugendhat and Channel 7 perpetrated what can only be called a callous pantomime over the dead bodies of the stabbed.
They yelled to their audience in a call-and-response, first to the right half of the forum, and then to the left:
"Is he a Muslim?"
The audience is primed to respond: "Yes, he is a terrorist!"
"Is he a Jew?"
The other half responds: "Yes, he is called Benjamin!"
The perpetrator is later revealed to be have been a male escort, perhaps homeless, and described by his distraught father as mentally ill, but this gets far less attention — it is the first impressions that stick.
If you cannot see the technique, let me explain as a 35-year veteran of network news. The aim was to shoehorn a tragic stabbing into Muslim-Jew paradigm as a proxy for Iran and Israel.
Is this "mindlessly" propagating misinformation, as the traduced student Ben Cohen later complained, or more nefarious? [1]
Regardless of background or trigger for the stabbings, the mainstream media took full advantage, playing it forward into public perception.
It cannot be denied that such attacks are used as distraction but with a subliminal message, always fitting the dominant narrative.
It shoves war and conscription off the front pages. It dominates the headlines with an allegorical representation of what the power brokers want the public to think.
A less informed populace, manipulated by prejudice and stereotypes, will draw the conclusions it is given.
It may fit into a bigger triptych or tapestry, given the dropping in of a 33, the age of "Johnny," a witness to the Sydney attacks.
Sometimes the story or legend is less apparent — or maybe we think too hard. Remember the Miami mystery of Jan 2024, the alien drip feed. [2]
Objectives of war
The real danger of WW3 is evident from the uniform declarations by Western politicians that we are on the brink.
This is the same group behaviour that we saw in spring 2020, confronted with an outbreak of coronavirus (with cold and flu-like characteristics) when the world's politicians declared a Great Reset to Build Back Better.
These leaders get out of bed each morning facing a different personal and political crisis, with a new set of butterflies in the stomach.
Britain's defence minister Grant Shapps got out of bed with a new name, using multiple personalities in his previous career as an internet marketeer.
Some lead double lives, like French president Emmanuel Macron and Canada's prime minister Justin Trudeau. Others are plucked from the lower ranks of regional government having been groomed by Klaus Schwab's Young Global Leaders training programme, financed by the world's biggest corporations.
Globalist history
Let us not kid ourselves that these individuals generate the words that come out of their mouths — especially when those identical phrases are synchronized.
For six moths they have been telling Western populations to prepare for war. They looked to Russia and Ukraine; now they look to Israel and Iran; with an occasional glance at China. The flashpoint could be anywhere.
In the past the lighting of bonfires on hilltops was a signal to raise the army; for two centuries the English establishment's objective was to block good relations with Spain, to prevent the King brokering a marriage — and so transpired the Gunpowder Plot, and the stashing of explosives under the English parliament.
In the 17th century England wanted war with Spain; 200 years later Russia became the bogeyman. In both cases the merchant adventurers aimed to dominate trade and suppress competition. Today is no different.
The bonfires and gunpowder plots stand ready, for repeat against another adversary, under another flag.
