The WHO Pandemic Agreement does not directly challenge national sovereignty: it skirts around it.
It seeks to make big pharma bigger, building out mRNA production and distribution around the world.
It wants to make pathogens profitable, and incentivise governments to take part. Especially in parts of the world that saw low uptake of the Covid "safe and effective."
The agreement is tangential to climate change but argues that increased pressure on land and water is increasing the leap of diseases from animals to humans. [1]
The hopes and fears, nudges and lags, desires and aversions, need a unifying narrative and that is One Health-One World but not, sadly, One Love.
”There is one question I'd really like to ask
Is there a place for the hopeless sinner
Who has hurt all mankind just to save his own?”
Old Testament mixed with East African sects but much truth, nonetheless.
One Health equates humans, animals, plants and wildlife, water and land use in a trade off for the "greater good."
It is based on the Manhattan and Berlin principles, which, in a cruel inversion of Leonard Cohen's song referencing those power centres, leaves no space for rebellion.
It is a path that leads to worse than Aldous Huxley's scientific slavery, where pharmacology and propaganda makes the people docile, but to something more insidious and finite.
The WHO can call an emergency on almost any pretext as a potential health threat: climate change, the location of land near the sea or inland (managed retreat), farming practices and food safety, natural disaster...
Even armed conflict — though not, it seems, in the case of Gaza. And that's because the events in Israel align with the Sustainable Development Goals.
Regardless of your allegiance, you should recognise that elements of what is happening in Gaza are supported by foreign powers not out of their love for Israel but because they have in mind something similar. This is not a project you can pin solely on Israel.
I know I walk on thin ice, and am denied followers as a result (my current quota on X is a measly 800), but I tread on ice with friendship and a good heart.
I have a pet concept that nothing happens without satisfying the interests of at least three constituencies: these can be any, though we see a pattern of state security, military-industrial, and the purpose that lurks behind pharmacology.

I shall return in an upcoming article to the town of Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. Two years after a wildfire, the coastal district stands empty and unbuilt. How long will even the alternative media ignore what stares them in the face?

Yet I acknowledge this is equitable or immoral depending on where you, and your wallet, stand. Your allegiance is your allegiance, and I can respect that. But a wallet can justify anything.
Unfinished business
By dangling the prospect of profit, the WHO seeks to co-opt the business class in each country, thus creating public-private partnerships outside of the political system.
Recall that on his first day in office, president Donald Trump stood with tech bros and announced the Stargate Project, to invest $500 billion to develop and personalized cancer vaccines using artificial intelligence.
This was the first day in office of a man who in private must, we had hoped, have regretted Operation Warp Speed.
There is a special focus on the Global South, especially the continent of Africa where the Covid "safe and effective" saw much lower uptake.
Synthetic DNA templates speed up the manufacturing of mRNA shots. As an example, DNA Script is focused on Global South regions. The Coalition for Epidemic Preparedness Innovations (CEPI) in February allocated $4.7 million to DNA Script.
Sometimes they don't even hide it: "Sustainability is the Focus of WHO's mRNA Vaccine Programme as Partners Look Beyond Covid."
If you know what sustainability means, you will shudder. It means not sustainable energy, as the Greenwashing claims, but sustainable population which Google AI defines as “a complex and debated topic, with estimates ranging from 2 to 10 billion people.”
This is evidence of the emerging medical-industrial complex, one that The New England Journal of Medicine (NEJM) describes as the “rise of a huge new industry that supplies healthcare services for profit."
The WHO wants a piece of the business. As the campaigner James Roguski says, emergencies - existing or anticipated, real or imagined - are hugely profitable.
