In Part One we looked at the Jeffrey Epstein's connection to the larger-than-life Robert Maxwell, and in Part Two Epstein's shared connection to arms trafficking, namely Iran-Contra. Now we turn to his interest in science and in particular his sponsorship of genomics.
Epstein gave millions of dollars to scientific research, often supplementing funding from branches of the U.S. government — the Department of Defence, the Defense Advanced Research Projects Agency, Intelligence Advanced Research Projects Activity, and the National Institutes of Health.
Recipients included George Church, professor of genetics at Harvard Medical School and professor of health sciences and technology at Harvard and MIT. Church has proposed a dating app that would give people their ideal genetic match.
In 2016 Dr Church, a pioneer of DNA mapping and gene editing, organised a secretive conference. The topic was creating an artificial human genome, an organism’s complete set of DNA.
Researcher Alina Chan would describe her efforts to construct and test an artificial human chromosome. The hush-hush nature of the meeting drew criticism for "discussing ethically sensitive issues behind closed doors."
Church is perhaps the most prominent scientist to receive grants from Epstein (those that are known, date from 2005-07). He met Epstein several times a year, which continued after Epstein's conviction in 2008.
These meetings were often with Church’s colleague Martin Nowak, Harvard professor of biology and mathematics and director of the Program for Evolutionary Dynamics. Epstein seemed interested in the science of life’s origins and mathematically modelling the evolution of viruses, Church said.
Epstein had pledged a total of $30 million dollars to Harvard. He delivered on about $9 million, a lavish sum compared with usual research grants.
Another leading Harvard professor was Charles Lieber who patented "virus sized transistors."
Bill Gates has specifically cited nano lipid particles (NLP) - or the envelopes that protect the spike protein - as a key part of the mRNA injectables, precisely the area of Lieber's research.
Lieber would be arrested in late Jan 2020 for not disclosing his work with the Chinese government while applying for grants from the U.S. government.
He was also, allegedly without Harvard's knowledge, director of the Joint Nano Key Lab with the Wuhan University of Technology.

Distilled, these fields of research represent the transhuman and eugenic, conducted often in a secretive manner, shielded from public and sometimes government eyes, and financed privately through endowments.
Money and influence
The person who through ambition or inheritance acquires great wealth is not expected to be the best-read in the room. That's why historically they basked in the reflection of those who attended their salons. That's why they support creatives and scientists through philanthropy.
Money is worthless until it borrows form, and acquires beauty, depth, speed or distance and, in turn, gains the buyer exhilaration or peace.
