Good Ol' Boys Face A Run With Christine
The deep state bureaucracy loves crisis, loaths initiative, despises The People
What is with governments shrugging off their responsibility to the people?
Curiously-aligned policies, lamely disguised by a narrative
Cascading crises while charities and governments block private initiative

Many in the West see the incoming Trump administration as their last, best hope: that the nous of a billionaire businessman can reform the corruption of bloated government.
It's a big call. The People in Britain, Canada, Australia and New Zealand, disarmed and dismayed, are not powerless but lacking a written Constitution they have fewer tools at hand: the British have launched a petition (see below).
With three hires from Fox News, the incoming administration of Donald Trump is heavy with influencers and narrative. But what lies beneath it: the continuity of technocracy, bio-digital ID, with little accounting (so far) for Covid and an unclear approach towards war.
What is narrative but a distraction from the nuts and bolts under the hood of the Starsky & Hutch Gran Torino. The broad bonnet of that MAGA Roadster is bigger, the ride is higher, the suspension is jacked even more than his first term.
But so is the disconnect between that polished exterior and what's behind those shining chrome fenders.
This is not to dismiss the electoral achievement of Trump and J.D. Vance, "fighting the system like two modern day Robin Hoods". MAGA is Trump's thing; it's his ride.
Those who control the mechanics have the power to mess with pedal and brakes, however.
There are worrying hints that the journey won't be smooth. The dysfunctional bureaucracy seems out of control, deaf to the pleas of the passengers or others on the road.
We were sold the beloved Starsky & Hutch roadster but the bureaucracy is more like Stephen King's Christine: rather than two good ol' boys. a sociopathic government that not only fails the people but runs them down.
This is a problem across the West.
This past week Canada's premier Justin Trudeau bopped to Taylor Swift while Montreal burned. It's a spit in the eye.
Prime minister Keir Starmer cannot find enough Britons to punish — imprisoning them for social media posts, means testing pensioners, taxing farmers into suicide, raising the burden on everyone else and breaking every campaign promise in a little over 100 days.
A petition for a new general election approaches 2 million signatures in two days.
But the petition was launched just after Starmer's government said it would arrest Israel's Benjamin Netanyahu if he sets foot in Britain, under the International Criminal Court's warrant for genocide.
In Germany the Green-SDP coalition led by Olaf Scholz is collapsing, yet the likely replacement is Friedrich Merz from the "conservative" CDU who sat on the board of Larry Fink's asset management company BlackRock.
You can change your vote, along with your overcoat, but you'll get the same outcome. We had ample evidence from this years' European elections, and those in Britain, France, Austria and German regions.
The question is, has government changed so far in the direction of self-serving corruption and special interests that it is beyond the scope of Trump to corral it?
Presstitutes
The media is complicit. A familiar story emerges of the state corporate hacks ignoring reality, while bureaucrats answer not to the people but to unseen powers.
There is a pattern from hurricanes in the Carolinas and Florida, the floods in Valencia, Spain, the fires in Maui, Hawaii. The train spillage of dioxins in East Palestine, Ohio, and their release by burning in Georgia. This is a grab for land, resources and power by the wealthiest, with the politicians in their control.
Events that have killed thousands of people are only reported if they align with the official narrative, furthering policies agreed in advance. In each case locals say the real death toll was much higher than admitted.
Look at the "cascading crises" promised in president Joe Biden's inauguration, in particular the failure to help the people when needed.
