I believe that Jeff Childers’ banging of the “Local, Local, Local” drum is our only hope (and plenty of evidence in local school board elections and such, see Moms for Liberty). My fear, however, is that technology may ultimately render that solution moot. Orwell would be amazed.

Local does seem to be the only wall that can be breached. It has the power of defeating the claim to grass roots legitimacy - which strangely is very precious to this bureaucratic caste.

It's a topic for an article.... Why is corporatist top-down authoritarianism so desperate to legitimize itself.... Hitler would have been perplexed.

Thank you for this excellent article. To add a small sidebar, evidence that JFK was aware that he was isolated from the East Coast Establishment-controlled Intelligence groups lies in the fact that he created the DIA. Robert McNamara and Joseph Carroll were two of his closest confidantes.
