Ah yeh, the eyes. I recently had 2 kittens come through, one stayed, one got adopted by a neighbor. It was funny, everyone thought they were both girls. One had short fur and genetalia was obvious. The other was a fuzzy chunk with big eyes that wowed all comers = presumed girlhood. I took one look and knew right away. The girls have eyes set a bit further apart and the bridge is not as broad. The boys have a longer face that causes an uncanny valley 'needle nose' appearance at about 4 months or so, but it resolves as the musculature comes in. Beautiful kittens.
That said, Google is a plague. There is hope that it is going to be parted with some of its winnings, like you tube (which would be a relief because who needs their fact checker boxes that rely on wikipedia to inform us of wrongthink). Thank you for the alternate places to access your writing. I've been spinning my wheels too often in compromised spaces just to follow favorites old and new. To paraphrase Mark Twain: Everyone complains about the lack of alternatives to major social media platforms but nobody does anything about it.
My longtime compañero Boogs departed this plane in August of '23, just a few months shy of 20 years. His sister went several years before. I've been holding off renewing my next contract with felinity, but that picture has me knees a' weakening. Nothing like that kind of companionship, no siree.
Moneycircus comes into my protonmail box. I used Brave or Firefox browsers. I occasionally send one of your essays to another person if I think it will stir their thinking. I never hear any response of what the person thinks of it. Not even if they have received such a notice. How awful. Nice to know I can access by other means if necessary. Never heard of Bastyon. Will try it. Beautiful cats!
Thanking you for the feline pics, oh and your writing ain't half bad! Truly I enjoy your thematic flow, and pulling together of ideas and dedication to uncovering the underlying schemes: ie - All is the fallout from the insanity spewing out of the river of crises being manufactured by R,R & R.
Re: De-google. Great reminder to explore other email platforms. I opened a proton mail account 2 years ago, and instead of migrating there completely, just used it for specific purposes. Turns out it is also 'compromised', says some smart techie people- professionals in the industry. So.... will look at some choices.
Re: subscriber news: My better half suggested that BMAC or Buy Me A Coffee is potentially and option. This would allow people to donate one time 5$ or whatever, as they have it to give. Also there is a BMAC platform. I researched, and quickly came upon a substack with recent and relevant info. I do not know anything about the person or his moniker, Morgoth, but do check it out. And there are some excellent comments below it. Carry On.
Funny. I've had, at one point when working and more flush with cash than my current retirement income, 11 rescued cats. I live in a transient city where people for decades dumped their pets upon returning home. These pets were largely not neutered or spayed.
I would have said the bottom a boy and the two top girls. But...pictures can be deceiving. Boys, to me, have a more settled vibe although I've seen my female cats protect their backyard territory with an unbelievable ferocity.
