Agree. In a previous episode I mentioned the possibility / probability of discordance reaching heretofore 'unimaginable' levels. What I am witnessing across the spectrum in the communication formats I follow is: "OK. That's IT!" The collective fuse has burnt down very, very close to the powder charge. They are not yet insulated. Since many of the oligarchs already have remote tropical lairs, the ethnic cleansing in Hawaii seems to me to be the removal of any residual threat.
Point well taken. For all of the sophisticated tech-ery at their disposal (and this includes the U.S. foreign policy mavens,) they in many respects seem governed from their amygdalas. This is not to say they are not dangerous. Nonetheless, an inflection point is near, who will remain standing is the question preeminent in my lil' pea brain, my amygdala yet in reserve, just waiting for the clarion call.
