Edna Cintron stood or sat on the torn north face of World Trade Center One for an hour and a half until it collapsed.

She worked for Marsh & McLennan on the 97th floor, pretty much in the middle of the 93rd and 99th floors that it is said were destroyed by American Airlines Flight 11.

She features in the photographs used to study the collapse. She was still there, in the final photograph, 20 seconds before the building imploded.

Yet the National Institute of Standards and Technology never referred to her. This is because Edna is an inconvenient truth. If jet fuel caused such an intense fire that it brought down the buildings, this resourceful yet gentle secretary, as recalled by her husband, would not have been able to perch there, waiting...

Shock and awe

The public, above all the victims, were subjected to horror — what the U.S. military would later categorise as “shock and awe.”

As the phrase suggests, the aim is to stop people thinking; to drive them into blind panic or rage.

Yet there was calm determination among those who managed the crisis and the response behind the scenes. There are three stages to control: first the event itself and to establish the narrative; then the investigation; and finally any litigation.

We shall look at some of those involved: their connections and their timely appointment to key positions. But most telling of all, how personnel from September 11th 2001 loom large in the crises with which we are presented today.

Status games

The aim of this article is to connect the events of September 11th 2001 to what’s happening today; linked crises in what the World Economic Forum calls polycrisis.

Elites play status games, with power controlled tightly within families. If we reach back, we shall surely find mafia, tribalism and syndicates.

Intelligence agencies surpass the run-of-the-mill nepotism that you see at the office, for they have secrets to keep, plans to unfold over generations. Of course, we only confront the VP of Operations: presidents, the éminence grise like the Dick Cheneys and their reports.

One clue is that that the same people involved with the Russiagate hoax to neutralise president Donald Trump’s administration, were the crew on Nine-Eleven: James Clapper, John Brennan and Robert Mueller.

The compères — at a stretch we might call them managing directors — were the presidents: Bushes, Clinton and, today, Obama.

The Clintons and Bushes have always worked together, and Obama is a product of the same machine. Try to tell a reader of The Guardian or The New York Times and you’ll be met with a stare that says: “Cannot compute…”

As voracious readers they likely are familiar with the fragmentary novel or magic realism, a technique from fiction. What they don’t realise is that the State works the same magic when it wants to disguise activity, confuse adversaries and keep rivals in the dark. And that includes deceiving the public, as we discussed in Part One.

Ignoring the evidence of one’s eyes goes far beyond photographs.

The Clinton administration (1993-Jan 2001) unleashed the corporate power grab that enabled the military-banking-pharma-digital takeover of the world, which explains how the Democratic Party became the party of war and big business:

Stripped the protections that kept factories and jobs within the U.S. by signing in 1992 the North American Free Trade Agreement (NAFTA);
Massively increased the for-profit prison sector with the “three strikes” legislation of the 1994 Crime Bill (sponsored by then senator Joe Biden, who also took credit for many clauses of the 2001 PATRIOT Act);
Allowed media consolidation, which is now ruled by six corporations, through the Telecommunications Act of 1996;
Removed the ban on banks gambling with depositors money. The separation of commercial and investment banking had been imposed in 1933 after the Wall Street Crash. In 1999, President Bill Clinton publicly declared "the Glass–Steagall law is no longer appropriate."

Clinton’s service to The Powers That Be went much deeper than tilting power irreversibly in favour of corporations against individuals: Mena airport Arkansas, Iran Contra, flooding inner cities with crack cocaine, the first World Trade Center bombing in February 1993, the Oklahoma City Bombing in April 1995, the over-ruling of Clinton on Russia's NATO membership, the bombing of Yugoslavia.

Unless you understand that you won't get off first base. The Bushes are part of the Anglo-American intelligence agencies and Clinton was likely recruited at university. The Office of Strategic Services (try saying that with a stiff upper lip), British Security Co-ordination based in the Rockefeller Plaza, NYC, and the Central Intelligence Agency were outgrowths of the City of London and its centuries-old spy networks.

Proof of this connection is that the early appointments to OSS/CIA came out of British and American banks and law firms.

In a telling connection to the present, Dick Cheney, along with the Bush, Romney and McCain families, has endorsed vice president Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate in the November 2024 election.
