“In 2020, Congress made an investment of $1.2 billion to learn more about the mysterious ongoing symptoms that were afflicting some people infected with Covid-19. That sort of money to fund research into a chronic condition like long Covid was virtually unheard of."

Yet, the vaccine spent less time and money in research and it was forced on billions without any concern...

Damn. A Moneycircus shotgun blast. I got another beer. Seems like the only response.

Journey to the East with the monkey king. They have their problems but are not going insane like the West. In fact I suspect many of the Asian countries problems are caused by the West.

"Norwegian research a few years ago found the majority of charity made its way back to the donor country and often impoverished the recipient." I gave up donating to all charities after I found out the salary of the head of the Red Cross was over $1M. I guess charities took their cue from Confessions of an Economic Hitman.

Life's a gamble. Don't listen to the carney touts selling security they won't provide. What are your assets? What are your skills? Where is the best market for what you have? But don't sell out others freedom for a few peanuts for your self.

The world ending with a whimper...?

I'm not particularly optimistic for our future as anything resembling "free, sovereign beings." The Owners have such a massive head start, their focus has most certainly prioritized primal mass manipulation, and when the independent-minded do articulate their contemporary stance on critical issues (referring to myself here and now,) there exists such a wall of pre-programmed opposition to critical thought challenges by the indoctrinated that I see very little wiggle room for a spark of ideas ever to take hold as at a minimum comforting warmth, let alone a popular uprising prairie fire that sweeps all of this evil incarnate stew pot away. The hour is late, much later than we---but especially the fervent optimists---allow ourselves to consider.

I just don't see the cavalry riding to the rescue this time, that is the irregular revolutionary forces that so spontaneously rise up whenever a critical moment in history is breached. Pacified, self-indulgent navel-gazers pondering gender fluidity (and "the unfairness of it all!") is the messaging I conclude we are receiving while the old veterans of the peace movement are still expecting phantom passionate youth to erupt and climb the barricades. Their elders persist in tactics that have gained them nothing over the decades, their "No violence!" mantra consistently bringing them the same results over and over, again and again.

Oh. And about that J-6. I suppose the big question is exactly how much the Owners' show of jurisprudential heavy-handedness has stifled the resolve of the so-far only big-talkers. Time will tell, but again, time is running out.

There are many the moments that epic failure is visited upon freedom-seeking humanity for generations in spite of the best of intentions accompanied by persistent hard work resisting the forces that seek to impede human progress by first denying freedom.

Tyranny tends to win historically, the percentage of time that fair, enlightened governance exists is sadly, a mere pittance of time. The tyrannical forces, propelled by self-interest above all, I think tend toward the psychopathic, focused to the point of obsession to control, while their minions (the mass of men?) at a minimum happily hitch along for the ride, offering their own more modest obsessions up in a form of sociopathic fealty ("You just want to be on the side that's winning...." B. Dylan.)

I think we've truly screwed the pooch this time, allowed these perverted dominion-seeking screwballs far too much leash; we did not recognize their larger game in time or in sufficient numbers to deny them their foothold, their camel noses are firmly embedded under the tent. and way too far up our skirts. OK, kilts then. And now we pay the price. For how many generations is the question. Or does it all go up in thermonuclear firecrackers in short order because we allowed the Khazarian crazies into the White House, veritable earwigs torturing Ol' Joe by gnawing away at what little lucidity yet remains in that corrupt old sonuvabitch's brain?

(James Kunstler of Clusterfuck Nation blog said it succinctly re: FJB: "... Finally, there is the news, straight from The New York Times, that “Joe Biden” intends to announce his reelection plans within days. The idea is preposterous, of course, the old grifter visibly oxidizing a little more each day in plain sight of the whole world."

My bottom line is to GTFOH as much as possible, to the extent my sailboat offers a Passage to Somewhere for as long as my aged body and mind can contend with what nature (outside of human nature) throws my way. It's been at least two decades since I've defined what the larger "It" is as being a cross between being on-scene at the Tower of Babel and watching the Tiger melt down into butter in Kipling's "Little Black Sambo." You see, I'm all out of solutions for something that goes way beyond my puny powers to change. So from here on out it's all about adapt and overcome, if not prioritized from the get-go by utilizing 'avoid' as much as possible.

“It is hardly surprising that all the big nature conservancies are fronted by royals and artistocrats — they are an extension of centuries old colonialism.” How true this is. Some time ago I joined WWF in London and was promoted to a senior fund-raising position. I was genuine in my desire to protect wildlife but after a few years I realised how corrupt this organisation was and resigned. I have lots of stories about this!
