The Washington Post calls Harris ‘communist’ for price controls comment
Regulation does not resolve shortages. If anything, it creates bigger ones
Crucially it would be a pretext for rationing based on bio digital identity
Check the pretext; politicians rarely ‘do what it says on the tin’
The social engineering experiments of the 20th century were a trial run
The grocers she trashes are major financiers of the Great Reset
Price controls and Universal Basic Income won’t work in de-industrialised society
Like rent controls in SMART cities, the agenda becomes clear
Harris-Walz drop hints to socialist voters. This is yet another layer of deception

Many years ago, while the Berlin Wall stood in its razor wire, spotlight starkness, I went through Checkpoint Charlie to East Berlin.
That evening's altercation with the secret police lay some hours in the future. We were hungry, so my university friend and I went to a cafe, where we drank coffee that contained no coffee and a sliver of chocolate cake sans cacao.
One thing I can say about wooden coffee and cake is that, as any child playing at tea party knows, it makes the conversation more real.
When we meet again, after the Reset, we'll have plenty of time, as we sit in our shared "kommunalka" apartment, drinking coffee substitute, recalling the good old days.
We shall discuss at our leisure why such policies don't work. We shall remember that we have been here before.

Let them eat fake
A "fair" economy, in which everyone gets a piece of the cake, has been sold to the people ever since Marie Antoinette supposedly mocked the hungry peasants of France before the revolution — and got her just deserts.
Price controls have a long and inglorious history but it's not surprising they're being touted again. Universal Basic Income is also being promoted (the World Economic Forum and the UN) and piloted (Britain and the U.S.).
The Kamala Harris campaign announced on Wednesday that she would, as president, institute a "federal ban on price gouging on food and groceries."
Straight up, I'll say that the big supermarket chains, especially in countries like Britain, are price gougers. Their founders are among the country's richest families and keen social engineers. The Sainsbury family finances the Institute for Government that is behind the MINDSPACE document, that was used during Covid to manipulate public behaviour.

Do you think the politicians working on behalf of the World Economic Forum will penalise with price controls the grocers who bankroll the same project?
The big grocers are well known for squeezing farmers' margins to the bone, while using all manner of trickery to empty shoppers's wallets, but that's the next article.
Consumers' decisions, supply chains, disruption to shipping, corporate lobbying for cheap but unhealthy ingredients, the misleading food pyramid and government policy in areas like farming and Green policy are just some of the influences on price.
Focusing on price alone is playing to the masses. Such is politics today. Conservative candidates are portrayed as "populist," but when their opponents also appeal to the downtrodden, what are they... "demagogues"?
The focus on price is sleight of hand. To paraphrase a British advert, "it does NOT do what it says on the tin."
Price controls tend to push the problem up the chain. Manufacturers cut quality, or output, while demand increases. Products that are unaffordable to some, become unavailable to many.
The black market thrives. A quality product is available to those who can afford it at a higher price than you started with.
Since the rising price is caused by the printing of money, or the lack of a connection between price and demand, due to central planning and quotas, prices remain dysfunctional.
Price controls would likely lead to rationing, empty shelves, sporadic delivery and long queues — but the answer, in today's surveillance state, is the modern ration book: bio digital identity.
Curiously Australia just announced its digital ID and the European Commission rolled out a vaccine passport test project in five countries. In Britain, a former Labour home secretary proposed bio digital identity as an answer to illegal migration, three months before the recent riots. And the U.S. said that Social Security data had been hacked. How should we secure your data? With a bio digital identity, of course!
We'll examine how talk of price controls, UBI, and digital identity, are connected to social engineering. The Harris-Walz camp are not shy about dropping hints that appeal to voters of a socialist bent.
It prompted this headline in The Washington Post: "When your opponent calls you ‘communist,’ maybe don’t propose price controls?"
This is yet another layer of deception.
We are not talking about communism, of course. There will be no repeat of the social engineering experiments of the 20th century. That was the point: to experiment.
There is common thread, however, which is monopoly capitalism. Ownership is concentrated in few hands, and competition is avoided by dealing with the people only through government, which becomes the customer in public-private partnership.
As Larry Fink of asset manager BlackRock said: “Markets don't like uncertainty. Markets like totalitarian governments."
As JD Rockefeller said: "Competition is a sin."
Welcome to the political horseshoe, in which the people cheer for the advance of each wing until the circle is closed with the meeting of apparent opposites.
You will never find a straight line connecting A to Z. That is why the World Economic Forum explains its programme with "transformation maps" or wheels of tangents. The reader must decide which among those seeming tangents constitute the real motives.
Let's look at what's wrong with price controls; why they're being suggested now; how they fit into a bigger agenda; and where that leads.
Buckle up for the ride.
