The shooters dispatched to Trump may carry a message rather than a deadly outcome. Both would-be assassins appeared in commercial videos. A backstory perhaps — but it also sends a message of violence to come, inciting a swarm.

This does not change what is happening. War-mongering politicians, answering to the money power, are concerned to stop any chance of a peace maneouvre by Trump that could derail their wars.

The timing tells all. Ukraine's ad hoc leader since his term as president expired, Volodymyr Zelenskiy, announced last week that he had permission to fire Western calibrated and armed, long-range missiles at Russia.

President Vladimir Putin of Russia said the fact that Storm Shadows and such like rely on Western guidance and technicians implies that any use inside Russian territory is an act of war by NATO.

Britain's defence ministry denies permission has been given and Zelenskiy has backtracked. Still, U.S. and British functionaries have in practice taken the decision, even if they have not yet admitted publicly. Such weapons have already been fired at Russia, notably in Sebastopol. Ukraine has attacked Russia's early warning system against incoming nuclear missiles on three occasions.

Britain's prime minister, Keir Starmer has said he supports arming Ukraine with missiles to strike Russia.

Missing answers

How did shooter Routh know about Trump's timings, when and where he'd be golfing?

Next to Trump's golf course is an airport, an army base and a sheriff's court. Locals say there are sheriff's cars driving up and down the area every day. If you so much as exceed 20 MPH you'll be stopped.

Officials say Trump does not merit more security because of protocol - he is not president. Strangely it takes no account of threat.

Even without directly controlling individuals, the mind warpers may have achieved a variant of their Manchurian dream: not one Candidate but a swarm of drones stalking obediently towards the target.

Commercial videos thus serve as a metaphor for interchangeable characters, which is more or less what politicians are.

Volatility and vectors

We live in volatile times and it is irresponsible, nowadays, to ignore the tangents and trajectories that could take flight.

Regular readers know that I practice tangential thinking; that is I do not exclude the most irregular paths, even if the rocket seems to be going off course. Unexpected outcomes, misses as well as hits, have consequences.

It is not good enough, as fanboys say of Musk’s rockets, that even if they misfire that represents progress, onward and upward. Newton may have been an alchemist but he glued in our consciousness: every action has an equal and opposite reaction.

I fear Ryan Routh is a psychological operation and the reason is his carefully manicured image.

Routh, now 58, featured in an AZOV propaganda video in 2022. This image is as manicured as Kamala Harris in the last debate with former president Donald Trump.

The words he speaks in an interview with Newsweek Romania are telling:

“This is evil against good. We’re battling a situation here while Ukraine and the rest of the world are caring and kind, and generous and unselfish, and take care one another and it’s just a matter that we need to stand up for that…. so that we just move forward as one collective whole unit.” [1]

I won’t say Moon Unit. There, I did. Certainly there is nothing organic about Routh. He is a creation or, in other words, an asset, in a slow orbit around some organisation.

What’s with the video? Thomas Crooks who is said to have shot Trump in July appeared in a BlackRock advertising video in 2022.

Crooks was rapidly cremated. Some say the body on the roof resembled convicted Antifa hoodlum Maxwell Yearick. Crooks himself had no online presence. Yearick has disappeared. A boy who could be Crooks has been seen hidden with a hoodie, cap and shades in the company of Crooks' father. But that’s so 64 days ago.
